I started by Illustrating the most prominent relatable landmarks in Lagos (The National Theatre and The Lekki Ikoyi Link Bridge). I also Illustrated a Yellow danfo of Lagos that is the most prominent mode of transportation in Lagos.
The Red circle symbolizes the sun rise and sun set every Lagosian experiences early morning on their way to work and in the evenings on their way back from work. The Traffic light is also an important element in Lagos and allover the world.
The Outcome
Print copies of the book got sold out in their hundreds and over a thousand e-copies of the book got sold out on Amazon and Okada Books.
